Ever since I started my QA position and Maverik, I have always felt a little self-conscious. Feel like I haven’t done very much during my one year tenure there, and have always felt a little singled out by Sam McCurdy, the senior manager of the engineers. I applied many times for engineering positions, and was always turned down and thought that I was being looked on negatively by him.
I spent a lot of time yesterday, organizing a new Planner board to keep multiple people and teams on track with the cash recycler project. I just got a call from him concerning that. He told me I was doing a very good job and that he was proud of me! I can’t tell you how happy that makes me.
