I went over to Hannah‘s house this evening after work, without her friends there. I was able to meet her parents and her middle brother and youngest sister. Her parents were very nice!
Her dad kind of just looks like me and has an IT job at ADP. He was a very upbeat guy and was enthusiastic to meet me. He didn’t stay very long, and left pretty much immediately after dinner.
Her mom is an assistant schoolteacher at a local public school. I did find out that her mom has a disability. Her right arm is malformed and is about half the length, but she does have full mobility in her hand. I guess it makes sense now why Hannah said her mom was left-handed!
When I arrived, Hannah and I made two dozen batches of cookies, I also helped Hannah‘s mom prep vegetables for dinner. We ate dinner and talked for a bit and then Hannah and I went downstairs and played LEGO Star Wars and Mother on her Nintendo Wii for a bit. I headed home at about 10 PM.
