Today I went to Maverik’s Lake Day event. I rode the jet skis with a few people but I also rode tandem with Mariela.
I don’t think I have written about Mariela here yet but she was a girl that I worked with on Maverik’s triage team about 5 years ago and liked me then. She followed me onto the technical support team and has always given me slightly romantic attention. I am not interested in her in anyway. (Overweight, smokes/drinks/tattoos, already has a kid)
Anyway, I mentioned that because I have ridden tandem with her at these summits for a few years and it is the only time I get a hub from someone other than my mom or sister. This year, she was extra huggy and was even resting her head on my back. Not going to lie, even though I don’t have feelings for her, it really was a wonderful feeling to have a girl hold me so tight from behind with trust and affection.
I cannot wait for my wife to do that one day.
